On a lovely summer day in late May Adam and Deanna had a gorgeous Star Wars and Lord of the Rings wedding at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena. The morning began with Deanna getting ready with her girls at a townhouse on the property. She gave each of them gifts that included a cute cami set and hangers for their dresses.
These invitations were so perfect for their wedding. I loved the golden B on the front!
And this necklace and ring box were perfect too! 
Deanna’s bridesmaids helped her get all ready to go meet Adam! 
Adam got ready with his guys in their own townhouse. Doesn’t he look so handsome in black and white? 
These two each love doing sweet things to surprise each other and they really pulled off a few great surprises on their wedding day! The first is that as far as Adam knew, he was going to be in place for their first look and then Deanna was going to join him. Instead, Deanna wanted to surprise him and hide in the first look spot them walk out to meet him. His face lit up when he saw her! It was so cute!!!
It was one of those days were we felt like the Galena Territory was putting on a show for us. The trees were gorgeous and full, the grass was tall and waving beautifully. I mean it was ridiculous! 
We stopped on one of the golf course holes so we could take advantage of the gorgeous clouds. 
This one, the way Deanna’s veil is blowing…I mean come ON! You can’t get something better than that!
Their ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church in Elizabeth which is just a little jaunt from Eagle Ridge. It’s a very pretty church that’s perfect for intimate ceremonies.
After the ceremony we took a little trip with Adam and Deanna’s wedding party who were so much fun!!!
I really cannot get enough of these bridesmaids dresses!!!! The lace overlay was so pretty and that blue is vibrant and gorgeous. 
The storm clouds came rolling in just as we were wrapping up. Don’t these clouds look amazing?!?! 
We took a little break for the rain to clear a bit and then Adam and Deanna wanted to take a canoe out on the Galena Lake. We gave Deanna our umbrella to take out with her and they just went out to have fun! 
The key with getting to go out on the lake is make sure you have PLENTY of time allotted. Due to ceremony timing restrictions at the church, Adam and Deanna had a full two and a half hour break from their ceremony to their cocktail hour which gave us plenty of time for their wedding party photos and time to do these pictures on the lake. 
The rain started coming down hard toward the end of the images so we made the best of it! 
Adam and Deanna planned a fun reception with a TON of nods to their Lord of the Rings theme! The signs they had were some of my absolute favorite touches!!!! 
They hand-wrote the lettering on these leaves which were the place-cards for their guests. Each table was named after a place within the Lord of the Rings series. Deanna and her bridesmaids spent a lot of time making each of the centerpieces. They even hand-sewed all of the moss together! Isn’t that amazing?!?
We had to take a few photos with their adorable “Ring Bear”! 
The party was rocking from the second the doors opened!!! I have to say, these bridesmaids dresses were stunning and went from ceremony to party with no trouble. On top of that, they didn’t wrinkle at all and looked fantastic the entire day through!
Just at sunset we got to sneak out for a couple of quick photos with these two all on their own. I love this shot and how sweet and gently Adam is kissing Deanna. 
The second biggest surprise of the day was Adam’s song choice for their first dance. He chose a song that Deanna has always loved and it caused Deanna to cry a lot of happy tears!!!
This map of Middle Earth was their guest book. 
The dance floor was so full all night long!!! The After Party really kept the party hopping!
