Oh my goodness do we have something amazing to share with you today!!! We knew from the second we met Mallory and Brian and heard about their plans for a sparkling navy and blush wedding day that this event was going to be gorgeous and it did not disappoint! There were so many pretty things we just couldn’t get enough! They hired the most incredible vendors to complete their vision and it turned out so beautiful! Plus, Mallory and Brian are absolutely crazy about each other and share a love between them that is palpable to everyone around them. It was an amazing day full of love and tons of sparkle! 🙂
Mallory began her morning getting ready with her girls on a lovely sunporch at one of the rental homes in the Galena Territory. They shared mimosas and funny stories throughout the morning.
Brian gave Mallory the surprise of her life when she opened her gift from him to find two plane tickets and a paid trip to Ireland for them this winter!!!!
Brian and his guys got a little down time before they all had to get dressed up to head to the church. Mallory gave the guys each a little bag with some gifts in them (booze and sunglasses of course!) and Brian got a super special gift! Along with a great watch, Mallory gave him a book of images from the boudoir session she had done with us a few months earlier. He was shocked because she had told him she would “never do something like that!” several months before. Little did he know that she had already done her session when she told him that!
Mallory didn’t let any of her bridesmaids see her dress before she put it on which was super fun because we got to do a cute reveal with her girls. They smiled so big and fawned over her. I mean, look at this dress!!! It’s beautiful and with Mallory in it, it’s absolutely stunning!
Then it was time for all of us to zip over to the church for their ceremony. They brought in a priest from Brian’s family church near Chicago. He mixed a bit of humor with a lot of talk about what marriage means to create a moving service that felt perfect for Mallory and Brian.
Since they didn’t see each other before the ceremony, we took some time after the ceremony to take photos of Mallory and Brian together along with their wedding party. We started at the church and then took a party bus downtown and to the Galena Territory for their photos. This group was equal parts pretty and spunky!
I’m so in love with these bridesmaid dresses and the color of the guys suits! They look so perfect together!
Once we arrived at the main lodge at Eagle Ridge, Mallory and Brian snuck up to the ballroom to see it all decorated before any guests were inside. Rodney with Special Moments Entertainment outdid himself and created beautiful backdrops and drapery for them and the staff at Eagle Ridge set up all their decor. It was captivating and Mallory definitely cried happy tears seeing her vision all put together for the first time!
From the second Mallory and Brian entered the room for their reception, the party was on! Between heartfelt (and hilarious) toasts, Mallory and Brian honoring Mallory’s parents (their wedding was the date of her parent’s 30th anniversary), and the great food, no one wanted to stay seated throughout the evening.
We managed to sneak Mallory and Brian out during dinner for a couple of quick sunset photos before the sun disappeared on us. Love these photos!!!!
The band Final Say kept everyone on their feet late into the night!!!
Mallory and Brian, thank you for letting us capture these moments throughout your day! We wish you so much happiness in your lives together!
Thank you to all the people that made Mallory and Brian’s wedding day the amazing day it was!:
