Lauren and Aaron had originally planned a huge celebration with all their family and friends at the Patrick Haley Mansion. With coronavirus having the effects it did on all weddings early in the season, they knew their original plans weren’t going to be able to happen. Instead of panicking, they simply re-thought their plans and came up with a way to include a few of the people they cherish while still sticking within guidelines.
Lauren and her mom had their hair and makeup done at Lauren’s family home. Then her bridesmaids met us outside for a few photos before Lauren and Aaron had their first look. Meanwhile, Aaron got dressed in the home he and Lauren share. Then his groomsmen met him outside for a few photos before he left to see Lauren for their first look.
Their first look and couple’s portraits took place on a walk path near their home. It’s such a special place because Lauren and Aaron run or walk through there several times a week.
After the first look we met up with their wedding party for a few quick photos, before going to the ceremony. There is a private home at the end of their street that they walk by often which used to be a monastery. Lauren and Aaron have always loved it and jokingly said they should ask if they could get married on the patio. Through a friend Aaron works with, they were able to contact the owners who gave them permission to use the patio. It was so pretty!
And finally, they had a small reception in their own backyard with just a few people. Several of their friends drove by in a parade for them which was so sweet! They cut a cake, shared their first dance, and the speeches were some of the most touching we’ve ever heard. It was the most amazing day!
