We first met Jen and John when Jen was a bridesmaid for her friend Christy. We had so much fun with Christy’s bridesmaids-they were the best group ever! So when Jen reached out about us photographing her wedding we were so excited! In talking with her and John we knew they were our kind of couple. Fun, sweet, and totally in love with each other. Because of COVID, their wedding moved to 2021 and their engagement session plans had to adjust about 100 times, but we FINALLY managed to meet them in Chicago for photos along the Riverfront and Lakefront and it was so worth the wait! Plus, we got to meet their quarantine-pup, Chewie who is the cutest little pup!!!!
Even though Chewie is a girl, her name is so fitting and perfect for her!
We may have snuck a little “easter egg” into one of these photos and Photoshopped their friends Christy and Steven into the background of one of these pictures 😉
We loved how much they laughed with each other throughout their session! You know we believe laughter is the best medicine and these two are bound to have a lifetime of love with how much they enjoy hanging out with each other.
