The session we’re sharing today has quite the story behind it! First of all, it took place at Bear Lake in Estes Park Colorado which was AMAZING!!!!! Second, though Jess and Andrew had been living in Colorado for a few years, they moved to Minnesota just a few weeks before this session took place. That meant they had to fly into Denver for their session, drive to Estes, and then drive back to Denver to fly back home the next day. It was a whirlwind trip for them! Not only that, the line for them to get their rental car ended up taking an hour and a half AND it was Estes Park’s 100th anniversary the day of this session so traffic was insane! All that meant we had to start shooting about an hour later than we had planned at first. Then, just 45 minutes into shooting, storm clouds rolled in on what had been a perfectly sunny day up to that point. It seemed like the cards were stacked against us but with their amazing attitudes and some quick work through photos we created some images that Jeff and I are ridiculously proud of!
Keep your eyes peeled for Jess and Andrew to be back on the blog soon! Their wedding was just last weekend and we can’t wait to share those images with you too!
