When we first met Megan and Tony we connected instantly! We laughed with them throughout our whole first meeting. At the end of it Jeff and I had to say “Oh yeah-we haven’t even talked about photography! Let’s talk about that!” Seriously, these two have huge hearts, they love to have fun and they don’t take life too seriously. That right there is the definition of the BEST UnPosed Couples! Huge hearts with an ability to not take anything too seriously.
When we first met with Megan and Tony we all had a lot of ideas for their engagement session and all of those ideas took place in different seasons or locations that were far from each other. What M&T ended up choosing was to do multiple engagement sessions so that they could get a range of photos to show all the aspects of their relationship that they wanted to. I have to say this was incredibly fun because we got so close with them that by the time their wedding rolled around they were pros at following directions and knowing what to do!
Their first session took place on a beautiful snowy day in downtown Dubuque and it was so cold we could only be out for about 30 minutes before we had to call it quits and warm up with some beer from 7Hills Brewery. Once spring arrived we took some photos on a beautiful little farm that their friends own, and that night we also highlighted Tony’s love of flying with some photos with the plane he flies. Then once summer arrived we all met out at Fergedaboudit Winery in Hanover where Tony had proposed to Megan. We all had a BLAST with every session and I can’t wait for you to see their wedding photos!!!!
