On a super lovely day in early June Christine and Kyle had an elegant Iowa country wedding in Decorah, IA at the DeNovo Barn. This venue is gorgeous in its simplicity. It is an all-in-one venue in that you can get ready on the property, hold your ceremony there, and have your reception there. Venues like this are our favorite because it keeps everyone close together and the celebration flows all day long. We just love weddings at venues like this!
Christine and Kyle are two incredibly special people to us. When we first moved to Galena we met Christine’s parents who lived on our block just across our backyard. They have since become our “Galena parents” and because of our relationship with them, we’ve gotten to be very close with Christine too. Christine and I also share crazy similarities in our life stories which has made us particularly endeared to one another. When she first met Kyle I knew she had found her soulmate. They are incredibly perfect for one another.
Their wedding day was centered on the love, family, and friends that they care so much about. Every person that was there has played a special part in each of their lives. The happiness and sheer joy that radiated around them all day long was so touching for us to see and to say that we were elated to be part of it would be an understatement. It was such a special day for us getting to see our friends get married. Enjoy the photos of their beautiful day!
