There are always so many beautiful moments that happen during wedding ceremonies. Though this is sometimes the part that couples think of last in lieu of planning the party and the decor, the ceremony is the reason for the whole day. It’s why all of these people are here. They want to witness you pledging your hearts to each other for the rest of your lives. It’s a beautiful part of the day. Often filled with emotion, there are very few ceremonies that pass without me shedding a tear or two.
I loved the look on Ronnie’s face as April walked down the aisle for their wedding ceremony in Jamaica. The emotion shared between the two of them throughout the ceremony was so genuine and truly melted our hearts to witness. We love when tears are shed among friends and family during ceremonies like at Ashley and John’s and Jess and Steve’s weddings. It makes me feel less alone when I shed a tear or two!!! Plus, John shedding tears as Ashley walked to him is a PERFECT example of our belief that you don’t lose any of that emotion if you have a first look. John and Ashley had a first look and did their wedding party photos all before the ceremony and John still shed some tears as Ashley walked down the aisle to marry him. These are faces of pure joy! And Matt shocked Ashley with a full on passionate first kiss 🙂 Mr. Budweiser wanted to be part of every moment of his mom and dad’s ceremony. He was trying so hard to get Seth to scratch his belly during the processional!!! And aren’t these little flower girls and ring bearer too cute?!?!
This goes down as one of my favorite ceremony moments. Christine’s dad walked her down the aisle, gave her hand to Kyle, and then changed into a robe to officiate their ceremony. Christine and her mom both had no idea Ed was changing and were so confused when he disappeared behind the ceremony platform for a few minutes. Only Kyle, Jeff, and I knew what was happening. I love when a bride and her dad share sweet moments as they go down the aisle like Christine and her dad did.
Destiney and Joe sharing a kiss as they exited their ceremony.
This ceremony was special in that Erin and Jason’s kiddos were their wedding party and they had them involved in a family ceremony during the wedding proceedings. There were many cute moments shared between them all, but these laughs were my favorite.
Heather was one of the most smiley people we have ever seen. She grinned and was filled with joy every moment of her day. I loved her dad giving her a kiss as he gave her away, and then her sweet look back to her guests during the ceremony. And the look she and Chris gave each other as they realized they were officially husband and wife was so cute! Jess and Andrew are living proof that even when there is TORRENTIAL rain, you can still bask in the beauty of your wedding day. Though the rain made the inside of their tent a muddy mess, they embraced it all and focused on each other. Also, their officiant was hilarious with his umbrella!!!
We loved these doors leading to Kara and Anders ceremony at Oak Hill. These little faces were so cute!!!! I also loved how Kelsey’s dad gave her a little kiss on the head before he walked away. And who doesn’t love when a couple dances their way back down the aisle after the ceremony is over?!?! This little lady did NOT want to walk down the aisle by herself! And Liam and Kristina win for fastest wedding ceremony of the year. It was 4 minutes from start to finish! This barn was such a cool wedding venue for Lindsay and Brian’s wedding day. The sky could not have been more perfect and beautiful for Maeghan and Charley’s wedding ceremony. The look on Margaret and Matt’s faces as they met for their ceremony were so sweet. And folks, this is another perfect example of the fact that you don’t lose any emotion if you share a first look. Matt and Margaret spent their whole morning together and still were emotional as they saw each other at the aisle. And finally, I couldn’t neglect to share this image. Sam and Joe released butterflies at the end of their ceremony which was so unique and beautiful!
